Sms Spent yest fixing bikes (with 2 locals). We will have 6 runners from this trip all of which have been allocated by the hospital to staff. Tomorrow looking at bikes from last trip - all of which are being used.
In Jan 2008 a group of UK volunteers are riding seven Honda C90s and driving two 4x4 pick-ups to Bansang Hospital and the Alexander Edwards Clinic in The Gambia.
View Larger Map I am one of the riders for this venture; a trip that will involve a 4000 mile journey over 4 weeks.
We will donate the 4x4s, the scooters (Honda C90’s) and any other supplies & spares to the charities for use by their doctors, nurses and outreach personnel. The Honda C90s are a form of transport widely used there due their reliability and low running costs.
